Principles for personal data processing

The Company (Backstage Agency) processes the personal data in accordance with the laws of the European Union, in particular with Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and on repealing Directive 95/46/EC, as amended (hereinafter the "Regulation")

Purposes and legal grounds for processing personal data:

Personal data of a customer are processed to the extent necessary to carry out agenda related to the sale of electronic tickets.

The legal ground for the processing are the legitimate interests of the controller, the provision of the above-mentioned services, etc., and your consent.

Processing with consent

When arranging the services mentioned above, you may consent to the processing of the personal data listed below for the purposes of:

Sale of an electronic ticket

The Subject’s personal data are processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, or arranging the ticket that will allow the Subject to enter the festival grounds of IFF Strážnice. The ticket reservation is subject to a fee and its conditions are governed by the General Terms and Conditions available here.

The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of the contract.

The provision of the above-mentioned services is not dependent on this consent and you may withdraw your consent to the storage and processing of the above-mentioned personal data at any time by sending an e-mail to: vstupenky@backstage-agency.cz. However, if you choose to withdraw your consent, some of the services may not be made available to you to their full extent. This withdrawal does not affect the processing of personal data for the purpose of fulfilling contracts to which you are a party or which are necessary for the performance of a legal obligation or for the protection of the legal interests of the controller.

The form and duration of personal data processing

Your personal data will be processed in an automated electronic form or in a non-automated paper form. The data processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract to which you are a party or which are necessary for fulfilling a legal obligation (to ensure services, to handle complaints, accounting obligations, etc.) will be stored for no longer than necessary for the period defined by legal provisions (Act No. 89/2021 Coll., the new Civil Code, Act No. 563/1991 Coll., on Bookkeeping, etc.). After the expiry of the legal period for storing such personal data, they will be deleted.

The personal data will be processed by the organiser for the duration of the contractual relationship and then for as long as is necessary to ensure legal claims arising from the contract (i.e. for as long as mutual rights and obligations arising from mutual contracts can be the subject of legal dispute).

Intention of the controller to transfer personal data to third countries:

The controller does not intent to transfer personal data to any third country.

Categories of personal data concerned:

We process the following personal data: name, surname, telephone numbers and email address.

If you do not wish us to continue processing your personal data, if you wish to withdraw your consent, if granted, or if you have any other questions, please contact us at vstupenky@backstage-agency.cz.

The data controller does not process sensitive data within the meaning of Art. 9 of the Regulation.

2. Information and access to personal data

You have the right to request access to, rectification, or erasure of your personal data, as well as to request the restriction of processing or to object to processing. You also have the right to data portability. These and other rights are described in more detail below.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time by sending an email to vstupenky@backstage-agency.cz.

Inquiries and other requests regarding the processing of personal data by the organiser may be submitted by the data subject via an email to vstupenky@backstage-agency.cz .

3. Security, protection and confidentiality of personal data

In particular, in cooperation with IT experts, we have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security equivalent to the risk of an accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of or access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed, or the risk of unauthorised access to personal data.

However, if, despite our best efforts, a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, we will notify you immediately.
