Organisational and Commercial Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to these organisational conditions:

E-Ticket

The e-ticket is valid for one entry to the festival grounds only, it can be presented only once for scanning the ticket code with the barcode reader. After the ticket has been checked for validity, a wristband will be attached to the visitor’s arm. This wristband serves as a Festival Pass for admission to the festival grounds and performances of the International Folklore Festival Strážnice. Tickets can be exchanged for wristbands during the opening hours of the ticket offices (see: https://vstupenky.backstage-agency.cz/straznice).

At the entrance to the festival grounds, the e-ticket holder identifies him/herself with this e-ticket printed on an A4 sheet of paper or stored on a mobile device.

The online-purchase of tickets is provided via the secured payment system The Pay. All information about this system including commercial terms and conditions and complaint procedure can be found at www.thepay.cz.

Purchased e-tickets cannot be returned or exchanged, unless the IFF Strážnice is cancelled. The customer is entitled to a refund only if IFF Strážnice is cancelled by the organiser before the beginning of the event. The request for a refund must be sent by e-mail to: info@nulk.cz. The money will be refunded in the same way as the ticket was purchased.

 

Falsification of bookings is not permitted and is punishable by law. 

 Access and stay in the festival area:

Visitors must respect the instructions of the organisers.

It is not allowed to stay overnight in cars, tents or similar structures on the festival grounds.

The festival area is unguarded and the organisers are not responsible for stolen property.

"Alternative dispute resolution
1. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) with its registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Ident. No: 000 20 869, internet address https://adr.coi.cz/cs, is competent for the alternative resolution of disputes arising from the Contract. For the settlement of disputes between the Seller and the Buyer arising from the Contract, the online dispute resolution platform http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr may be used.    

2. The European Consumer Centre Czech Republic, with its registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, internet address: http://www.evropskyspotrebitel.cz, is the contact point under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC (Regulation on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes).

3. The Seller is authorised to sell goods on the basis of a trade licence. Trade supervision is carried out by the competent trade licence office within the scope of its competence. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority supervises, within the defined scope, inter alia, compliance with Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on Consumer Protection."
